Great little hotel, not luxury but had everything you need for a weekend. Great location with a lovely beach 5 mins walk away. Shops, burger king and plenty of restaurants all within a 5/10 walk away. Located in a quieter area of Benalmadena so could suit families also. We didn't eat in hotel but plenty of restaurants that serve good food around.

Happy with our stay so far. Only down side is I wish you could use the pool at any point. For us as a couple we wanted to chill out and relax on an evening without having children around. Self catering not very useful as no oven so limited to what you can make yourself. Other than that happy happy stay.

If I had based my decision on some of the reviews for Hotel Vistamar, I wouldn't have booked this hotel! I am so glad I wasn't swayed, the hotel is well located just across the road from the beach, the staff that I came across were all helpful and courteous, we had to check out of the room by 12 noon on the day of departure, however there are shower facilities available so we were able to use the pool and shower before leaving in the late afternoon. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot vouch for the dining room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and towels changed every day, the kitchenette was ample for our needs, it's worth noting that there is no conventional oven but there is a microwave, if you need a kettle you just ask at reception for one. Carparking charge in the hotel carpark is 10 Euro per night however there are some spaces available on the street outside the hotel. I will definitely return to this hotel!
